2026 Planet Mainframe Influential Mainframers Nominations Now Open

The search for the next class of Influential Mainframers starts now. Nominations for the 2026 Influential Mainframers award are officially open.

We’re looking for practitioners, leaders, educators, and change-makers shaping the future of the community. This is your chance to celebrate achievement, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.

What it Means

Now in its third year, the Planet Mainframe Influential Mainframers award recognizes mainframe leadership. In 2025, we received 147 nominations from 15 countries. These are the people behind performance breakthroughs, critical middleware support, standout conference sessions, mentorship, and ecosystem advocacy.
