Rohit Badlaney

Rohit Badlaney is the “Director - IBM Z aaS and BlockChain Platform” in the IBM Systems Group. Rohit is setting the strategy for driving IBM Z and LinuxONE into the IBM Hybrid Multi Cloud Strategy. He owns Offerings, Development and SRE/Ops for the following portfolios: IBM Blockchain Platform, IBM Hyper Protect Family of Cloud Services, IBM Cloud Private for Z, Secure Services Container and z/OS Cloud Broker. During the last thirteen years at IBM, Rohit has held numerous other roles in IBM Systems and Cloud divisions, most recently as Director of the Systems Management and Ops Analytics business in IBM Z Software. Before that he was the Program Director for IBM Hybrid Cloud Strategy and Emerging Technologies. In that role, he focused on Cloud Strategy across our entire Systems and Middleware Portfolio and propelled the portfolio to be ready for Hybrid Cloud. Prior to that he has held several Mid Management and Technical Leadership roles in the IBM Middleware and Systems Groups. Rohit holds a Masters in Computer Engineering Degree from North Carolina State University and lives with his wife and two kids in Cary, NC.
