In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the inception of Cyber Security Awareness Month, we are embarking on a security-focused journey, bringing you a variety of articles, blogs, and videos designed to enlighten and empower you throughout the entire month.

Since 2004, October has held significance as Cybersecurity Awareness Month,  a dedicated month for the public and private sectors, and tribal communities to work together to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity.

While esteemed organizations such as the National Cyber Security Division and the non-profit National Cyber Security Alliance will emphasize their overarching theme of “staying safe online,” here at Planet Mainframe, we will delve into the insights of expert technologists as we explore how the realm of IT and Mainframe has dynamically adapted to the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats and how we can best equip ourselves for the future.

Among the remarkable topics and authors we have lined up for this momentous month are:

  • The Evolution of Cybersecurity. From Cascade to Quantum
  • Mainframe security – Early Warning needed to beat back hackers
