Today we showcase a pioneer integrating DevOps methodologies into mainframe practices.
Gatien Dupre

With an extensive background in the mainframe and DevOps sectors, Gatien Dupre is dedicated to infusing innovation into these foundational systems. His mission of revolutionizing mainframe operations began with a significant endeavor at Société Générale from 2014 to 2019. During this time, GatienI spearheaded the ZDevOps transformation project, a pivotal initiative to integrate DevOps methodologies into mainframe practices.
After pioneering this transformation at Société Générale, Gatien joined IBM as a product manager and contributed to products such as Dependency Based Build (DBB) and Rational Team Concert (RTC). His tenure at IBM was marked by creating Wazi Deploy, an inventive continuous deployment solution explicitly designed for Z systems, reflecting his commitment to continuous delivery and seamless integration in mainframe environments.
In 2023, Gatien joined Crédit Agricole, taking on the role of Senior Mainframe and DevOps Expert. In this new role, he leads the transformation of Mainframe Development practices, aligning them closely with the principles of DevOps to foster efficiency, collaboration, and higher quality in delivery cycles.
In 2024, Gaiten was selected as President of the COBOL Guide Share France group, underscoring his continued dedication and contributions to the global mainframe community.
